BSRU-SDG Campiagn Week 2023

At Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, we have firstly launched an Initiative, “BSRU-SDG campaign WEEK” as we pledged the commitment to support and foster the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs in areas of critical importance for humanity, prosperity, and planet. We commit to making a global impact through our work and we have made significant progress as an institution.
The BSRU-SDG campaign week taking place from April 24th to 28th, 2023, includes 3 main activities: the first one is SDG talks and research from guru, specialist and well-known researchers such as UNDP specialist, a prestigious actress in Thailand with eco-life project, educators who works for the project of Thailand Science Olympiad, a young business lady from Hongkongwayouts, directors of Bio-diverdity based Economy Development Office, a researcher who promotes an understanding of LGBTQ+ equity, ethics conflicts. 2nd one is about SDG Showcases which highlight collaborations across the university among faculty, staff, and students in responding to these global challenges. The last one is SDG youth for sustainability which encourage all international university partners into discussion and call for action on Sustainable Developoment Goals from youths.
We truly believe that participating in the SDG Action and Awareness week will provide us with an opportunity to both reflect and act upon our aspirations as a university for the future.”

Social Engineer” Project has been integrated as one of the main missions of the Office of Student Affair, particularly for providing our University students with the opportunity to serve the community. We promote the students’ soft skills towards interdisciplinary active- learning, as well as social lab based activities. During the covid Pandemic, the students have been provided training by organizing themselves into local communities around the university so as to cope with the issue of poverty. Our students packed bags containing food and medicine, and distributed them to low income families, underprivileged students and unemployed members of the community. With such activities emphasizing on real practice, it can be affirmed that the project has shown effectiveness in building students’ global citizenship that aligns with the SDGs’ principles.
