Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) has several participatory initiatives that actively involve local stakeholders, such as residents, local government, and civil society, in the decision-making process. Here are four key projects that demonstrate BSRU’s commitment to inclusive stakeholder engagement:

Collaboration with U-Thong Dvaravati Education Center and Designation as a UNESCO Creative City (Music)

In 2023, BSRU’s U-Thong Dvaravati Education Center held a collaborative meeting with local authorities, including Dr. Somjin Changkrabi, to integrate the city of Suphan Buri into UNESCO’s Creative City Network in the music category. This initiative included the active involvement of local government representatives, cultural officers, and university faculty, working together to establish frameworks for creative and sustainable development projects. This collaboration ensures the community’s cultural needs and vision are reflected in future cultural policies.

Community Market and Science Exhibition

On August 10, 2023, the U-Thong Dvaravati Center organized a “Community Market and Science Exhibition” to promote learning through practical engagement. The event included demonstrations on local agricultural techniques, health product creation, and online marketplace platforms (like “MaShopKan”) for local vendors. This project empowers community entrepreneurs by providing them with new avenues for growth and aligns with local economic development goals.
