Collaboration with Royal Thai Navy School of Music for SDG Integration in Curriculum
In 2023, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) had the privilege of partnering with the Royal Thai Navy School of Music and the broader College Navy Network to contribute to the development of their quality assurance processes. This collaboration focused on training key personnel from the Navy School of Music on how to formulate their annual reports and Self-Assessment Reports (SAR), particularly with regard to mapping the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their curricula and projects.
The session emphasized the integration of SDGs into academic and institutional frameworks, ensuring that educational activities are aligned with global sustainability targets. By supporting the Navy School of Music in these efforts, BSRU reinforced its commitment to expanding SDG education beyond traditional university settings and reaching institutions that play an integral role in community and national development.
Intensive Program for Developing English Proficiency Towards Sustainable Development in Chumphon
In 2023, BSRU launched an impactful educational initiative in Chumphon aimed at enhancing the English proficiency of graduate students while promoting awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project, titled “Intensive Program for Developing Students’ English Proficiency towards Sustainable Development Goal Learning Activities,” successfully engaged approximately 170 students enrolled in the Master’s program in Educational Administration.
The primary objective of this intensive program was to foster a deeper understanding of the SDGs and their relevance to sustainable development within the context of education. Students were trained to integrate sustainability concepts into their academic and professional practices, with a focus on how English language proficiency can enhance communication of SDG-related knowledge across diverse communities.
