Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) is committed to fostering integrity and transparency by implementing strong measures to combat corruption. These include policies such as the No Gift Policy, which prohibits university personnel from accepting or seeking gifts or benefits, and promotes ethical conduct and accountability. BSRU’s efforts align with national strategies to resist corruption and ensure that all actions taken by the university’s staff reflect high standards of moral and legal integrity.

The No Gift Policy at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University prohibits administrators and personnel from accepting or seeking gifts, presents, or any other benefits. The policy aims to promote transparency, prevent corruption, and ensure ethical conduct. University personnel must not request or accept gifts that are not aligned with customary or cultural norms and have significant value. Additionally, gifts are not required for festivals, and any expressions of congratulations or good wishes should be done in ways other than through material gifts. This policy ensures adherence to ethical guidelines and promotes integrity within the university. You can read BSRU’s No Gift Policy here (page 4):

The Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) is a tool used to assess and improve the ethical standards and transparency of public sector organizations. Its goal is to enhance the effectiveness of government operations and service delivery by evaluating three main areas: internal practices, external feedback, and public information disclosure.

The assessment gathers input from both government employees and external stakeholders, focusing on key aspects such as job performance, the use of public resources, and efforts to address corruption. Specifically, it includes measures like:

  • Point 5 : Addressing corruption through the monitoring of internal operations and efforts to combat misconduct.

  • Point 9.5 : Promoting transparency and managing corruption complaints.

  • Point 10.1 : Implementing actions to prevent corruption within the organization.

By providing actionable insights on these areas, ITA supports the development of more accountable, transparent, and efficient public sector institutions. You can read more about it on BSRU’s Strategic Action Plan 2566-2570, page 179. BSRU’s Assessment of ethics and transparency in the operations of government agencies in 2023 can also be viewed in its totality over here: https://ita.bsru.ac.th/66-index/ and points 31-38 focus specifically on measures to combat corruption.

Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) has implemented a series of measures to address corruption and misconduct. Central to these efforts is the No Gift Policy, which aims to prevent the influence of gifts or benefits on official duties, fostering a culture of transparency and ethical behavior within the university(point 32). The university regularly produces reports to track compliance with this policy(point 33) and assess its effectiveness. BSRU also conducts assessments to identify potential risks of corruption and misconduct (point 34), taking proactive actions to manage and mitigate these risks(point 35). An Anti-corruption Action Plan(point 36) has been developed to guide efforts in combating corruption, while monitoring reports are generated every six months (point 37). An annual report provides a comprehensive overview of the university’s success in preventing corruption(point 38).
