Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Services at BSRU
In alignment with SDG 3, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU) is committed to providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care services to all students, empowering them with free access to information, education, and resources that promote health and prevent disease.
- Accessible Health Services and Counseling

The Health Department at BSRU offers a wide range of services focused on students’ health and well-being, including preventive care and primary health counseling. This includes sex education, reproductive health counseling, and general health promotion for teachers, staff, and students. These services aim to foster a safe and inclusive campus where health knowledge is disseminated effectively, ensuring students have a trusted source of health information and support.
- Free Condom Distribution for Disease Prevention

In collaboration with the AIDS Control Division, BSRU’s Health Division within the Student Affairs Office provides free condoms to students to help prevent unplanned pregnancies and reduce the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) like syphilis, HPV-related cervical cancer, gonorrhea, non-gonococcal urethritis, and AIDS. To date, over a thousand condoms have been distributed, underscoring BSRU’s proactive approach to sexual health and student safety.
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Activities
In February 2024, BSRU’s Faculty of Medical Technology, in collaboration with LabMove Co., Ltd., organized a free cervical cancer screening activity for female students and staff. Using an innovative urine-based HPV test that does not require a pelvic exam, the initiative aimed to encourage early detection and prevention of cervical cancer. The screening was offered entirely free of charge, requiring only a national ID card, ensuring that students had equitable access to essential sexual health care. This activity reflects BSRU’s commitment to health promotion and disease prevention, in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

In October 2024, BSRU’s Office of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Public Health Service Center 26 (Raksukkhap Baan Khaek Clinic), organized a free sexual health screening event for students, faculty, staff, and community members. The program included comprehensive screening for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and consultations on sexual health and universal health coverage rights. Limited to 500 participants, the event was held at the Activity Hall on the first floor of Building 1. By providing free access to essential sexual health services, this initiative reinforced BSRU’s commitment to promoting sexual health awareness and disease prevention, directly supporting SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

These initiatives at BSRU demonstrate a strong commitment to providing essential sexual and reproductive health care services as part of a broader goal to promote health and well-being among students.
