Lifelong learning access policy
Sublink 1: The university’s five-year strategic plans (2021-2025) was revised in 2020. The university council launched recommendations for the implementations according to the academic missions covering the issues to provide education for all (P.32, 11.2 Academic missions, item 3). It was referred to developing short courses, teaching and learning management combining MOOCs and credit bank. The university should be part of reforming society by reducing inequalities (Item 8, P 33). These led to the changes of the university’s implementations. Item 1, p.36 about leveraging quality education consists of item 1.2 Develop non-degree programs to offer affordable education for all, item 1.4 Change instructional format to be blended based learning, item 1.8: Open learning opportunities for people without limitations. These are related to create lifelong learning environments.
Sublink 2 shows the university implementing the policy to support the lifelong learning by defining indicators 5 and 8 about the number of non-degree programs (P.30) and included a MOOCs initiative (P.47) under the strategic plan in the fiscal year of 2022.
